I started this journey wanting to become a coach, and NLP had always fascinated me. I’d had this thought in my head for a long time and kept looking for somewhere, somehow, to get it done within a suitable time frame—and with somebody good. It took me a very long time to find the right person. In fact, I was given quite a bit of discouragement about how tough it would be. Then I found Anil, who came highly recommended. I spoke to him, and I finally decided to join during the COVID times.
I was quite worried about how online classes would be. Those were early days for online learning, and I wondered whether it would feel like a real experience. Here’s my take after completing the journey: the online classes were as alive as I think an offline class could be. What I got out of it was incredible. I almost got addicted to the learning. I went from NLP Practitioner 1 to NLP Practitioner 2, then to Master Practitioner, and finally into coaching.
It was truly value for money because there was no repetition, and you had the opportunity to revisit the content as many times as you wanted. There was a lot of customer-centricity. The things I really appreciated were the punctuality of the classes—everything started on time, and there was never a class missed. The content was superb, and there was plenty of reference material. You could always go back online, review the recordings, and re-listen to concepts.
The other participants in the class became friends, and you learn so much from each other. There was a lot of group learning. The best part was that while you learned the frameworks and ideation, everything was practical. You received personalized examples that helped you introspect and transform.
I want to say that things I thought would take me three years, I completed within one year because I was handheld through the process. For me, that is extremely fulfilling and rewarding. The best part is I enjoyed it so much that I miss it when I don’t have classes.
This journey has been deeply enriching, and I’m going to continue on it. It has given me clarity about what I want to do, but more importantly, about who I am. Thank you, Anil. It’s been wonderful, and I hope to keep learning from you and with you.
